75 What is Hard Challenge?
On TikTok, the #75hard hashtag has amassed an impressive 2 billion views as users document their journeys and share their inspiring results. But what exactly is that challenge? “Seventy-Five Hard is a discipline challenge that challenges your mental strength,” he explains. April Gatlin, ACE master trainer of stride fitness. “It includes the following ‘rules’ for 75 days.”
The daily rules are:
- Read 10 pages of a non-fiction/self-help book.
- Make sure to eat a healthy diet. (Gatlin emphasizes the importance of consulting a registered dietitian or health care professional about which eating plan is best for your body and goals.)
- Complete two 45-minute workouts (one indoors and one outdoors).
- Drink a gallon of water.
- Take photos of your progress.
- Don’t drink alcohol.
- Don’t eat cheat meals.
75 Are Hard Challenges Sustainable?
Sustainability is key when working toward your fitness, diet, and health goals. “As a fitness expert, I recommend all parts of this challenge, but not the extremes of 75 hard,” Gatlin says. “Water intake is extremely important for daily mental and physical functioning, and being structured in your training and diet is always a plus when trying to live a healthy lifestyle. It helps to take photos of your progress even once a month.…Finally, read the Self-Development book, which is always highly recommended. If you work on your mind, your body will respond. ”
However, Gatlin points out that the “no cheat meals” and “twice-a-day training” aspects can be difficult to maintain and make it difficult to keep up the effort. To be more sustainable, she recommends avoiding alcohol and having a cheat meal once a week while sticking to a targeted nutrition plan.
As far as workouts go, Gatlin suggests adjusting your day to one 60-minute workout or two 30-minute workouts that can be completed indoors or outdoors. He also recommends taking weekly progress photos instead of daily photos.
“I’ve completed a 75 hard myself, but if anyone is considering taking on this mental toughness challenge, it’s important to decide if now is the right time in your life to take on this challenge. “We need to do that,” Gatlin emphasizes. “(teeth [there] Will your life change in the near future? TikTok user Jenessa (@thejenessamarie) documented her 75-day journey in the following article. video, revealed that by the end, she had dropped 20 pounds and 5% of her body fat without losing any muscle. She said she was “very happy” with her results, adding: “I can see how much more toned I am and I feel great! I’m sleeping better and I feel much more comfortable in my body than I did a few months ago. “I will,” he explained. If she keeps going, she’s going to lose another 20 pounds!”
