The Delaware-Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Services Board starts 2023 with more than just a New Year’s resolution. The Board unanimously decided to start the year with a new logo, slogan and brand guidelines.
The Board has proudly served the community for nearly 55 years. As concepts of care, recovery, illness, and support have changed and adapted over that time, so has the Board’s mission and vision.
This need for stability and flexibility at the same time has never been more evident than during the global COVID-19 pandemic. The community stress and anxiety associated with the pandemic have highlighted the need for effective, efficient, local and accessible behavioral health care. DMMHRSB has never wavered, developing new programs, assisting providers with support and planning, and ensuring that the safety net of services, programs, and support is consistently robust.
There is no greater symbol of stability, adaptability and flexibility than trees. For this reason, we cannot think of anything better to represent our organization and are proud to present our new logo.
Roots seek out and acquire essential nutrients for the rest of the system. This represents our support within the Delaware and Morrow County communities. Taxpayers, organizations, government officials and community partners all make our work possible.
The torso is tall, strong, visible and recognizable, and provides a strong yet flexible foundation for the entire body. It represents our network of providers who work tirelessly and selflessly to ensure that all residents have access to critical behavioral health services and support.
Leaves are healthy, functional organisms that take on different shapes throughout the seasons, reflecting the natural changes that occur within them. These represent the success of our system. These represent individuals, families, neighbors, friends, careers, classrooms and communities that have been helped by our network.
Adopted a new logo, along with a new slogan that summarizes the Board’s operations and mission for mental health, recovery and wellness. Healing. hope. “
