Psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen has revealed what is the “unhealthiest brain” he has ever seen.
In our conversation, Dr. Amen revealed the story behind the “unhealthiest brain” he has ever seen. It belonged to a boy who was only 15 years old.
Dr. Amen founded the Amen Clinic, which specializes in “innovative brain-body approaches to diagnosis and treatment planning for a wide range of emotional, behavioral, learning, cognitive, and weight problems in children, teens, and adults.” He is a famous doctor. ‘.

The clinic has performed “over 200,000 brain scans,” and Dr. Amen has examined quite a few brains over the years, but that one in particular is one of the most “unhealthy” he’s ever seen. It is no exaggeration to say that it was.
In a Bartlett podcast episode published on YouTube on October 30, 2023, Dr. Amen explained that the “unhealthiest brain” he had ever seen belonged to Kip Kinkel, whose full name is Kipland Kinkel.
“Based on my research, they did scans on him for the trial. His brain was very bad. A 15-year-old with this much brain damage and his life reflecting that. I had never seen a child like that before.”
But what was so “terrible” about Kinkel’s brain scan?
Dr. Amen explained that Kinkel’s brain appeared to be “deflated” in scans, even though he was only 15 years old.
Trying to figure out why this happened, Dr. Amen said Kinkel killed his mother and father so he couldn’t have a “good career.”
Doctors said Kinkel “was either deprived of oxygen at birth, not enough oxygen, had a severe infection, or something was poisoning his brain. It could be lead or an infection.” He concluded.
“So we’re talking about immunity and infection,” he added.
Dr. Amen resolves, “This is the main cause of psychiatric problems that no one knows about.”
