Seaford, Delaware – In Delaware, a nonprofit organization is hosting a new program to provide more positive interaction with local youth.
Boomerang Community Outreach Incorporated’s SWAG program.that is S.elf confident, W.inning, aappointed, G.o – getter.
The goal is to teach social and behavioral skills, personal development, and promote positive mental health to children ages 5-17.
Organizers say they focus on young people in both Seaford and Laurel. This is because children in these communities currently lack programs targeted to them.
“But for our young people, it is about enriching families and fostering positive interactions. So if you want your kids to change SWAG, send them to Boomerang. I would like to get it.”
Boomerang Community Outreach Inc.’s goal is to help individuals, families and young people overcome challenges and find solutions to a better life.
The program is completely free and will begin on Monday 9th January 2023 at the Restoration Community Church in Seaford.
The program runs every week from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
Registration required. For more information, please contact Danecia Page at (302)-404-0186 or email [email protected].
