The Sainte-Marie Hospital Association (AHSM) announces the election of Alain Conesa as president. He succeeds Alain Noziglia, in office since 2014, and thus opens a new stage in the life of the Association, placed under the sign of continuity and development.

“I appreciate the responsibility entrusted to me and I am committed to continuing, with all the teams, the development of the AHSM while respecting its fundamental values. Faced with the current challenges of the health sector, our ambition is to strengthen our action as close as possible to the territories and to sustainably place our project in a dynamic of innovation and cooperation. declares Alain Conesa upon his election as president of the AHSM.

A member of the AHSM Board of Directors since 2017, Alain Conesa brings solid experience in management and governance to his new role. Chartered accountant and auditor, he founded and managed his firm from 1982 to 2017. He has worked for many years with the CCI of Lyon as a trainer. Elected administrator of an approved management organization, he presides over the destiny of Cedage de Lyon and has become Vice-President of the Federation of Approved Management Centers since 2014. Very involved in associative life, he has devoted himself for a long time to the prevention of risky behavior among young people. His appointment is part of a stated desire to continue the actions undertaken by the Association while supporting developments in the health, medico-social and social sector.

This taking of office on the occasion of the Annual General Assembly of the AHSM, which was held on June 26 at the headquarters (Chamalières), is part of a gradual and structured transition: an active handover was carried out over the last twelve months in order to ensure continuity of governance. In this context, Alain Conesa was the pilot, at board level, of the “Vision AHSM 2035” committee, a key body which made it possible to collectively define the ambitions of the AHSM for the next decade. Continuing this work, he went to meet all the territories to present this vision, in order to share its directions and mobilize stakeholders. Strengthened by this commitment, it intends to continue and amplify this collective dynamic, by supporting the transformations of the hospital and medico-social sector and by consolidating the place of the AHSM as a benchmark player.
