Hospital garden trophies: two EPSMs rewarded

Out of twenty-six applications, two public mental health establishments are among the winners of the 3rd edition of the 2026 Hospital Gardens Trophy, supported by the Committee for Sustainable Development in Health.

Candidates had until May 13 to elect THE hospital garden of 2026. The gardens which thus won the public’s preference were presented on May 20 at Santexpo by the Committee for Sustainable Development in Health, a non-profit association which has brought together health and medico-social establishments engaged in a sustainable development approach for 19 years. There are three winners among the twenty-six health and medico-social establishments which applied, chosen by 4,000 voters.

All kinds of gardens

This third edition focused on “One health, preserving biodiversity and protecting human health”a campaign built with the French Biodiversity Office and the support of the National Agency for Health and Medico-Social Performance. The gardens presented are numerous: therapeutic gardens integrated into health pathways, for the benefit of patients; pleasure gardens or be for the benefit of users and their companions and employees; vegetable gardens; allotment gardens… specify the organizers.

Les lauréats :
• Premier prix : l'établissement public de santé mentale (EPSM) de la Somme à Dury pour ses jardins thérapeutiques situés sur 32 hectares qui offrent également un espace de détente et de convivialité ouvert aux patients, aux professionnels et aux visiteurs ;
